Margaret is a producer with bases in London and Tasmania. She has been working in the broadcast industry since 2001 for companies such as Viceland, the BBC, National Geographic, Endemol and SBS and now runs Mozzie Films. She started out in post production in Soho before moving into distribution where she headed up the marketing department at National Geographic’s programme distribution arm. From there she moved across to production. Most of her experience has been on factual programming for prime time terrestrial broadcast. She has extensive experience with travel programming, often sending crews into remote, dangerous and difficult to access corners of the world.
In 2014 Margaret spent the year working in a senior management role at online action sports broadcaster EpicTV. She then moved back into TV production on to work on larger scale and ground breaking productions, including Nat Geo mega series One Strange Rock and some of Vice UK’s first TV series. Her most recent role was field producing the Formula 1 access doc series Full Throttle: Drive to Survive for Netflix.
Margaret is currently working with partners in Australia, the UK and the US to develop factual programming for television networks and for brands. She is also the lead producer on a deck of feature documentaries intended for theatrical release.
